So, since I know people like Hunger Games, I'd thought I'd mention an anime I'll be starting when I get home from work in like 8-9 hours.
I kept seeing this girl posted everywhere, she's essentially meme base by this point. She's that Yandere one with that girl with the creepy look of obsession. It's usually purple.
So I finally decided to watch the anime, apparently it's a survival game anime and is "edgy". Which automatically means it's pretty mainstream like Madoka.
I actually watched Madoka because I like SHAFT's work and usually watch everything they animate.
Anyways, the anime is called Mirai Nikki, and people keep comparing it to the Hunger Games, which means it's going to be better than the Hunger Games. Just based on the fact that the main girl is an obsessive killing girl who will protect the man she loves just by killing everyone else. Just cuz.. And also because Hunger Games was a train wreck.
Psycho girls are fun. And I haven't watched any horror/gore/serious anime since Another back in April. Although I guess Fate/Zero was pretty gorey too (They fucking murder little kids . So much blood.)
here's the opening:

OP is pretty catchy.
Also, Hunger Games comes out on DVD/Blu Ray tomorrow. I thought it came out TODAY. That means I have to deal with it tomorrow when I open. FFS. This weekend is going to be fun with HG and 3DSxl/mario releases I am going to have to manage to put out.

book 1 quite good interesting movie 1
book 2 still interesting bit fucked up movie 2
book 3 WWWWWTTTTTFFFFFFFFFFF movie 3
But enjoy your anime! I don't like mangas or animes, but have fun!
D: Anime is amazing, just the gateway stuff is crappy (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Inuyasha etc etc)
I enjoy watching it. If one thing is certain, the anime wont have camera motion nonsense. The HG movie was terrible for constant shakey cam.
The priorities of survival (not in any particular order) are;
>Fire
>Water
>Food
>Not fucking dying of hypothermia
If you are being hunted, or on a covert mission, remove fire and add;
>Hide all bodily waste
>Leave no evidence
I didn't like the books all that much either, the writing was awkward. And the last book was terrible/a train wreck.
I've read some survival books (without the hunting aspects) and I found I liked those better. Also, general fantasy books usually have these elements too when the characters are on the run and stuff.
Don't even speak of that.
