The God of Life and Death and the Star

Her time in the void has been long and eternal, forever there to guard and guide the children of the gods between the worlds.

She did it for him.

Eternities ago during the war of darkness, the gods stood within their hall, their forms radiating power and light. She and the others like her watched as the greatest of the gods decided a course of action amongst themselves.

Then, the name of the god in black and white was called, his violet eyes glowing with power. She watched as the Sun god and Moon god addressed the god of life and death, calling him out. He denied nothing, nodded and stared calmly at the gods who glowed gold and silver.

"Seratia," the two gods called, hesitant, she stepped forward.

She stood at the centre of the gods as they studied her, the god of life and death tense and silent as she greeted the greatest of the gods. "Sol. Lune."

"You will serve punishment for Saolin's deed," said Sol.

"You will punish me, Sol. Seratia is not to blame," the life and death god said fiercely, his expression not as stoic as it always was. She had never seen him angry before.

"Valgrind is dead, you need another to replace him. The star of the heavens will do it, for you cannot. You cannot stand in the fields when you are needed in the ever after." Lune replied. "Do you object Seratia?"

"But you do not do this for just that reason!" he replied angrily.

"Seratia?"

There was a tense moment when she looked into violet eyes filled with a sadness greater than any she had ever seen. She shook her head, "I do not."

She did it for him. Not for approval, or to gain anything. Simply doing this for him was enough. She would do what she could to keep him safe.

And so she stood in the fields between worlds, white flowers littering the earthy floor, her blue and fiery hair blazed out behind her. Sometimes, he would visit her to enjoy each others company, whether talking or in content silence.

Suddenly, a young man appeared in the middle of the void, away from the other children. He was pale with ice eyes, a crown of gold fire around his pale blond hair. He wore the ancient robes of his kind, the white fabric flowing around him as he stared at her in confusion.

For a moment, she studied him in surprise as she took in his features.

"Where am I? And who are you?"

"You are in the world between worlds, Draynos Angelie, heir of the Royal line of Lento. I am Seratia, the Star of the Heavens, Space and the Ever After."

^ That's me trying to be a cryptic and mysterious as possible.

So, yea. I actually fessed up some names here. You got 3 of my god's names. Only because Sol and Lune aren't that creative. But you got Saolin and Seratia (she isn't a god btw).

Anyways, this was fun to do. Sol and Lune seem like dicks, but they don't really have a choice. Plus, lol, they're gods.

Saolin has the coolest design ever though. I've drawn him before. He's in my gallery a couple times.

This is a part from the Project FALL series that I am writing, although it isn't an actual scene from the books. (Got some Angelie too!).

Picture wise, I like how it came out. Seratia and Saolin are pretty cool.

Also, no, no animu because of the blue hair. She USED to have pale blond hair/silver, but after drawing her she didn't feel like a blond. She's just a really, really hot star. No, I'm not going to explain that, if you know, you know. (It's not that hard.)

I might work on some inheritance stuff when I wake up >_> Not sure what though.
