Eragon Shadeslayer 2010

Done in Photoshop CS5 with a Wacom Intuos 4 tablet

Whipped this up today. I just really felt like doing a portrait/trying something new.

It's...Eragon. He looks a bit older and a bit rugged and battle worn. Post Inheritance Cycle, he's got scars because I think it's a bit too unrealistic that Eragon should come out of this with a pretty face....well, an unharmed one.

So, I've made it a bit of an on-going project with myself to do one of these every year. It shows how much my version of Eragon has changed and also a progression of my style/skill.

Sorry for the lack of art...for ages. I have been very busy with 2 jobs, school/school art projects/volunteering.

As for Eragon's looks, I don't care, I have a thing for manly men. He is way older here than he would be in the books and I think his face should tell a story of his life. And I think we can all agree that his hasn't been a walk in the park.
