Artist's Comments

Spoiler's for Brisingr. (I'm gunna stop putting a warning starting January)

Despite how terribly sad this scene was, I loved the Eragon and Arya embrace. That is now cannon and I'm allowed to draw it as an actual scene and not one from my head.

Hurrah.

You don't know how terrified i was when that Shade was choking Arya and I am so thankful that she didn't die. And now BOTH Eragon and Arya are Shadeslayers.

And yes, I know there was nothing romantic about it, I found the scene terribly sad and touching.

I have no idea what other Brisingr arts to draw, so any comments of what would be cool to draw would be awesome.
I'm toying with the Eragon and Brisingr when breaking down the gate scene, the ending scene, and Arya and Eragon camp fire scene.

And ignore Eragon's messed up nose.

Done in Tria Markers.

omg i loved this scene too!!I was scared as well, but I was terrified of Glaedr-elda and Oromis-elda T_T Maybe you could draw Murtagh and Oromis-elda fighting on dragon back? Or draw the part where Roran and Katrina get married? Perhapes you could draw Eragon with Brisingr, his sword :3 Just giveing ideas sorry if they sound to hard o.o
I can't wait for other drawings :D

Arya's expression is great! Very well done :)

Some scenes you could draw:
* the scene where Murtagh hears from Eragon that he can still be freed of Galbatorix,
I think he then looked surprised and regained a bit hope, would be a challenge to try that expression
* the scene where Eragon makes a flower for Arya
* the challenge between Nasuada and Farawar with the arm-cutting thing
* Eragon being totally bored in the meetings of the dwarfs to decide the new King
* and maybe something with Oromis/Glaedr or with Brom looking at Eragon as his son

I hope this gave you some inspiration :)
I would never be able to make something good out of these scenes but I'm sure you can, you're a wonderful artist!

I felt bad for being happy when the scene itself was sad... but I couldn't help it.

I actually did an Oromis pic today, though it was without Glaedr cuz he wouldn't fit and it was my first time drawing Oromis.

But I was considering another Murtagh picture so that would be an awesome one as well as the flower scene with Arya.

Thanks:D

I've honestly tried to avoid the whole dragons battling scene, just because its soo hard to do as I fail at dragons. I've tried to do the Murtagh Vs Eragon from Eldest for so long that I just gave up.

But a total yes to Eragon and Brisingr, I've been trying to find a pose or a cool scene to do of it though.

Thanks:D
