Description

Oh my goodness, I finally finished this thing.

Never again.

A lot of stuff got in the way of this:/ Mostly the hostile takeover of my computer when it forced itself to update to windows 8.1 Literally the devil. My computer has been slow and unbearable in photoshop. I've had to create a new account to do things:/

SO anyways! Here we are. I'm done. Here's my post-IC characters as well as the original cast that are riders/still alive in my fic-verse. If you don't know about it, you can check out my fics (ha ha ha chapter 4 never) and related comics.

The way this works is that the colour behind each character is their dragon's colour. Then it's the character's name. The name below that is their dragon's name, written in the dragon's eye colour.

Got that? K Cool.

Soareka and Zephros--Members of the High Council, Soareka is one of the older council members. She was a student of both Arya and then later Stannis. She spends most of her time in the Eastern lands and Zephros and Soareka hold the title of the fastest riders and are undefeated whenever they participate in the racing tournaments. She is one of the 10 riders that settled the war with Surda and Alagaesia and was injured during the Rider Rebellion in which she was trialed upon suspicion of involvement. Soareka was born in Du Weldenvarden and is an elf. ( born year 37 of Rider's New Era)

Flora and Anemone-- Daughter of Eragon and Arya, and younger sister of Kevan. Anemone did not hatch for Flora until she was 16. They were the students of Stannis and Jakista. Flora grew up as a fan of the rider tournaments and eventually (in her 90s) trained and entered the tournaments as a speed racer. Trained by Sarin and then sponsored by Soareka, both Flora and Anemone go on to become one of the fastest riders and eventually enter the team tournaments with Soareka and Zephros. Flora also spent most of her teens and adult life being harassed by Kevan in regards to her love life. Despite their age and reputation as formidable opponents, Flora and Anemone declined all invitations to join the High Council. Flora was born in the Dragon's Hold and is a half-elf of rider descent. (506 RNE)

Tory and Kalos--Formidable speed racers and performers that shake up the old title holders, Tory is a rival to Flora in the tournaments. They both attended the same training and classes when they became riders (although Tory was a rider for several months before Anemone hatched for Flora). While they both are seriously competitive, Tory and Flora eventually become close friends and confidants who occasionally pair up for performances. Kalos has also mated Anemone. Tory and Kalos mostly scout out new regions and do border patrol. They were students of Travis and Spiera. Tory was born in the Dragon's hold, but her father was from a foreign country in the east. She is a human rider.  (505 RNE)

Eres and Akane--Eres and Akane were born (and hatched) in Alagaesia before traveling to the rider's homeland. Eres and Akane spend most of their time teaching group sessions to riders as well as educating the people of the Rider's City. They also travel in the south. They were students of Rickard and Jabaska. Eres is Kevan's beloved and mate, despite her earlier deflections of his advances. She's one of the few people who can keep Kevan in check. Eres is a human rider. (520 RNE)

Kevan and Merrik--Kevan is the son of Eragon and Arya and the brother of Flora. Born in Du Weldenvarden where his mother still ruled the Elven Kingdom, he became one of the youngest riders at the age of 8 when Merrik (an egg from Saphira and Firnen) hatched for him when it arrived in the city from the Rider's Homeland. Kevan and Merrik then relocated and lived in the Dragon's Hold after Arya gave up her throne, where they trained as students of Ismira and Gavlin. Although, Kevan and Merrik recieved training from most of their family at certain times in their life. Influenced by Ismira and his mother, Kevan and Merrik ferry dragon's eggs throughout the lands in search of riders. Kevan and Merrik are members of the High Council. Kevan also developed a technique where he breaths fire, which he has done since he was a child and saw Merrik do it for the first time and decided he also wanted to breath fire. Kevan is a half-elf of rider descent. (496 RNE)

Sarin and Fetnir-- Members of the High Council, they both patrol the north as well as guard the Dragon's Homeland. They were students of Soareka and Zephros, who also later sponsored them into the rider tournaments. They are big time speed racers whenever they compete and trained Flora and Anemone for a time, who they consider friends and Sarin considers Flora more. Sarin and Fetnir later lead a rebellion against Eragon and the riders with fellow students of Soareka and Stannis (who share similar ideology in their teachings) before he is defeated by Flora. He later escapes during his trial. Born in Du Weldenvarden, Sarin is a elven rider. (87 RNE)

Stannis and Jakista--One of the oldest and first members of the high council as well as the first riders, they spend most of their days educating their students in the Dragon's Homeland. However, they do travel around the lands upon the request of Eragon, with whom he is close friends with. He also participates within the tournaments on occasion, although it is rare in his later years. Stannis and Jakista are one of the 10 riders that settled the uprising from Surda and the magic users in Alagaesia. He later dies (and Jakista alongside him) at the hand of Sarin when he refuses to join him in his rebellion. Stannis was born in Alagaesia in the aftermath of the war with the Empire to a human and elf coupling. He is a half-elf. (02 RNE-867RNE).

Ismira and Gavlin-- Daughter of Ronan and Katrina, and eldest sister to several siblings. Gavlin hatched for Ismira when she was 14 and they then moved to train with her uncle in the Dragon's Hold. She spent most of her early years traveling Alagaesia and spending time with her family before becoming the official ambassador of the Humans of Alagaesia for the riders. She is a member of the High Council and holds classes in group sessions and sometimes the odd apprentice. She was the teacher of Vanis and Feirya and later Kevan and Merrik. She also ferried dragon eggs for a time. Ismira is in a relationship with Vanis. She is a human born rider. (00 RNE)

Vanis and Feirya-- The first students of Ismira and Gavlin, they are strong warriors and riders. Vanis is one of the rider's powerhouses and is assigned to deal with situations that require force or even war. They are one of the 10 riders that fought Surda and the magic users in their rebellion. Vanis also trains new riders in combat techniques and busies himself with forging weapons and other odds in his spare time. He's in a relationship with Ismira. He is a human rider. (397 RNE)

Arya and Firnen--Once the Queen and Ambassador of the Elves, Arya gave up her crown shortly after Kevan became a rider. She is still the Ambassador for the Elves but lives in the Dragon's Hold but often travels the many lands. She is the mate of Eragon and the mother of Kevan and Flora. She occasionally takes up her old role as someone who is entrusted with ferrying the dragon's eggs and sometime holds lessons for riders. When not away from her home, she spends most of her time in the gardens or in the library reading new texts brought in from the new lands. She is a member of the High Council and is the first rider of the New Rider Era.

Eragon and Saphira--the main protagonists from the Inheritance Cycle, the are the founders of the New Riders as well as the leaders and masters. Eragon and Saphira traveled the new lands as they once stated they would after they destroyed the Empire. Eragon educated most of the new riders and still does when he is not busy with rider concerns or traveling. He is the mate of Arya, and father of Kevan and Flora. Although he considers his niece, Ismira, as his close family and like a daughter. Eragon and Saphira are later rebelled against before defeating their enemies for a time.

Murtagh and Thorn--Once seen as enemies of Alagaesia and its people, they sought Eragon and Saphira out after spending 70 years traveling the lands in search of themselves. Mutagh aids in teaching the riders and is known for being one of the tougher teachers. Members of the High Council, they aid in whatever is asked of them. Despite their dark past and old regrets, they live peacefully and happily now. Murtagh is the uncle of Kevan, Flora and Ismira but has no children or lovers himself.

Riders New Era (RNE) started the year Eragon defeated Galbatorix.

Oh em gee, this took forever to type up.

Have any questions? Feel free to ask. Comments and stuff would be lovely after all this work ;_;

I'll probably do a comic with Kevan soon. Otherwise, I'll be taking Flora and co to a new story eventually. Which is why I halted A Night in Eternity btw (as well as just working on Project FALL instead). So you'll eventually see this written.

I'm going to go to sleep now.

Eragon sat on his surprisingly comfortable throne while he listened to his fellow riders discuss the events and politics of Alagaësia and the other known lands.
The room was large, tall and dark, illuminated only by coloured fire that circled the room behind the seated riders. Each rider sat in similar, yet smaller seats than Eragon and wore clothing respective of their cultural backgrounds with colours that represented their dragons scattered among their person.
Eragon himself was wearing his usual dark leathers, a green tunic similar to the ones he wore in Ellesmera centuries ago, underneath a mountainous indigo cloak layered with wolf furs and armour that rested on his shoulders.
He watched as his riders told of the peace and conflict throughout the surrounding lands, a sense of pride swelling throughout him as he listened to Rider Kadvar, a Kull, tell of his victory in the south. He had protected the harvest of the southern villages from raiding bandits. Having trained Kadvar
